Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Near Fiesta Park

The coffee at breakfast was amazing, and the beds were comfy. The rooms were fairly clean overall, but the sheets, pillowcases, and duvets had stains that looked like blood or something else suspicious. The chair in our non-smoking room had cigarette burns and gross-looking stains. We put out the “Do not disturb” sign to request no housekeeping, but housekeeping came into the room every day anyway. The hardest part was the noise outside the rooms on the walkways between 1 and 4 a.m. each morning. I was woken about every hour during our four-night stay. There was also steady highway noise from being near I10, but I could sleep through that. Traffic made getting out difficult, too. The gate was shut at the other exit, leaving only one way in and out through a narrow driveway that isn't really wide enough for two cars. You had to watch for cars coming in, then turn directly onto a busy I10 feeder where traffic moves fast and gaps are scarce. It felt hazardous, and I'm a Houston driver, so traffic usually doesn't bother me. There were lots of people hanging around the parking lot and property at all hours. I wasn't sure why so many were sitting in cars, and it made me concerned about security, my car, and the things inside it. The staff weren't especially rude, but they weren't kind or polite either, and didn't feel hospitable. They do provide breakfast, but it was the sparsest I've had. I would have liked a couple more options, like yogurt, bananas, or pastries such as muffins or danishes, which are pretty typical at motels. I wouldn't stay there again and will choose another place in San Antonio.

The staff do all they can to make sure I have what I need, and they're amazing. If I've left something at home, they don't mind providing what I forgot. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed at almost all of them in SA. It's also one of the few places that still offers a real breakfast, not just coffee. You get a full hot meal, which matters a lot to me. If you're in SA and want to relax with great service, this is definitely the place.

My room was cozy, peaceful, and really clean. Everything felt fresh and well cared for, and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice place to relax after a long day around the city. The staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were kind and welcoming, and seemed to care about guests and making sure things went smoothly. I'd give this place five stars for service, cleanliness, and comfort. I'd recommend it to people visiting San Antonio for work or fun. We spent a lot of time by the pool and liked being close to restaurants and Fiesta Texas. Having a front desk open 24/7 was a big plus. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed with friends and we had a great time. It's a comfortable, affordable place that made our San Antonio trip even better.
