The Retreat at Norwich Lake

The rooms were comfortable, with amazing views and layouts, and there were plenty of activities both in and out of the water. I brought college students here for a leadership retreat and couldn’t have been happier. The team at Norwich Lake was kind, helpful, and accommodating. The food tasted great and came in generous portions, and each meal included dessert, which was a sweet surprise. I’d happily come back and recommend the place to anyone.

Our group of about 70 was treated really well at the retreat center. From the day we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and kept checking that everything was okay. Thanks again for the experience you gave me and the group!

The rooms were gorgeous, especially the suite, and there was plenty of space for our group of 20 with room to spare. We enjoyed the food too. Our youth leaders had a great planning retreat and would definitely love to return. The only wrinkle was finding the place: entering the address in Google Maps sent us to the other side of the lake, but searching for the retreat by name worked.

Dave and his team were hospitable and flexible throughout our stay. They let us run our own program, and when problems came up, both teams worked together to sort them out. We rented the campground during winter break 2024 for Boston Education and Counseling’s middle and high school retreat. Even in some of winter’s coldest weather, the students and mentors had a blast. The location by Norwich Lake, with forest behind, was great, and the suites and cabins handled the harsh weather well. We definitely want to come back.
