DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Huntsville South

We had a nice courtyard view, and the beds were soft enough that we did get some sleep. The only thing I’d change is the bright light right above our window, practically attached to the sill. Even with blackout curtains, it lit up the room all night. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the upgrade they gave us was a lovely surprise. We were here for a date night and The Dinner Detective, which was a great show. Things looked nice and updated, though, like any hotel, there’s some wear. I’d stay again.

Teresa at the front desk made my month-long business trip through Alabama feel especially welcoming. She was caring and helpful with local suggestions, and the warm cookie at check-in is hard to beat. The gym was spotless, bright, and had the equipment I needed for a good workout. Since every room is a suite, I had much more space than at the standard hotels near Research Park. The separate living area, sofa, and kitchenette helped me stay organized and get work done. It’s also an easy drive to the fields and the US Space & Rocket Center. Great stay, I’ll be back.

The bar was amazing, and breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, and the shower had good pressure. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And those warm oatmeal choco chip cookies! Honestly, that alone deserves five stars, haha. Thanks for the stay!

After a nine-hour drive, Toni and Chelandria were so kind and helpful when I arrived. They made me feel welcome right away. I loved the atmosphere, food, and location, and I’d definitely consider staying again if I’m back in the area.
