Sherry went above and beyond, and even though my visit was brief, I left feeling recharged. Valley house Inn is a place I'd like to return to as soon as I can. The house is around 200 years old, with thoughtful modern updates that still preserve its historic feel. I could see snow-covered mountains from my window, while the water was only a 15-minute walk away from this unusual, peaceful peninsula setting. Lush grass and tall trees made the grounds feel calm and made it easy to slow down.

Historic sites are right across the street, and the host was so accommodating. The Airbnb was spotless and clearly cared for, with tasteful decor that made it feel like walking into a beautiful painting. I'm coming back!

During the Huntsville Holiday Stroll, I came by with my mom, who lives locally, and we were both impressed. The dining room table looked straight out of a magazine, and the place felt like walking into a Hallmark movie. The historic moulding and other original features are still there, alongside beautiful bathrooms and updates that have been done really well.

The host was so nice and accommodating, and she also cooked breakfast. It was the best breakfast I've ever had at a Bed and Breakfast. We stayed for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and loved every minute, including all the special touches in each room. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

I was at The Valley House Inn for a business retreat, and the house had lots of comfortable places to relax, reflect, or have a good conversation. The mountain town is cute, and the crisp air, gorgeous views, and beautifully decorated rooms made the whole stay feel removed from everyday life. The house itself was spacious and cozy. It brought together comfort, quiet, and a close feel to nature. I can recommend The Valley House for a peaceful mountain break or a retreat.
