The room smelled strongly of weed, and I had to go outside several times because I couldn’t stand the odor. There were stains on the blankets, the room didn’t seem clean, bugs crawled out of the shower drain, and rotted food was left in the fridge. The shower was disgusting, and breakfast wasn’t good either. The waffle maker looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and the milk tasted bad even though it wasn’t expired. The website photos look like they’re from when the place was new, and now the only part that looks the same is the front counter. At check-in, I was told I had to be 21. Since I was 19, they raised my deposit to $100. I paid $260 upfront for three nights. That may be their rule, and I didn’t see it posted, but I’m more disappointed by the rest of the stay. I can’t believe I paid $50 a night for this.

The room had dead bugs, and the safe didn’t work. There was nearly a 2-3 inch gap around the door, letting in hallway light and noise. The person who checked us in wasn’t at the desk at first, then came over barefoot, without shoes or socks. The place usually costs $50, but I paid $156, about three times the normal rate, for bugs. The manager Prateet, not Dan, offered a $20 credit. I thought that meant the credit plus tax, but no, it was $20 flat. Customer service didn’t want to hear my complaint, and the manager who was on vacation never called back as promised. If the staff and cleaning improved, they could charge what they did, but what we got for one night wasn’t right. This is a low-end place compared with what’s available in town, as other reviews show. I’ll never return. I’d like them to give the name of a real leader who takes responsibility, like other hotel brands do. You won’t find that here. Customer service is about as low as it gets.

The night desk clerk was incredibly rude, and the room was stained and dirty with mismatched chairs. My key card didn’t work on the back door, so around 11 p.m. I came in through the front and went to the breakfast area to throw away some trash. The clerk asked what I needed, and I said I was fine. A few minutes later I came back to reread some signs. The clerk came out of a door, said, “Yes?!?” and pointed at me, saying, “This is your last warning. Do not come to the front desk again, I will call 911.” I was just reading signs and had told him I didn’t need anything. I’ve done that at other hotels without any issue, let alone a threat to call law enforcement. I’m an upstanding citizen who’s never been arrested, not a criminal. It’s outrageous to treat a registered guest that way. If it hadn’t been so late, I would have left and driven home. I’ll never stay here again, I’d sleep in my car first. Stay away!

I booked a nonrefundable room online last night, but the front desk refused to give it to me. The desk clerk tried to get a $50 deposit from me, and she had her toddler son behind the desk, who wasn’t happy about it. She was very unprofessional and extremely rude to a young woman her guy friend had left there, telling her to get out. When I asked if she was really putting the woman out in the cold, the clerk started screaming at me and threatened to call the police. I told her to go ahead. My last two experiences with this property have been very unsatisfactory. I’ll never stay here again.
