Comfort Inn & Suites Hutchinson

We had no complaints. The location is handy for shopping, and the room was clean with plenty of light. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast offered a nice mix of hot and cold choices: cereal, fruit, eggs, pancakes, sausage, breads, pastries, and yogurt. The coffee was delicious, too. Ella and Mendy were both kind when we checked in, and Mendy had even called the day before to ask whether a particular room type would work for me. Everything was great from arrival to departure.

The room itself was great, and so was breakfast. But the manager came into my room to check the AC while I was changing, because she thought it was vacant. As a woman traveling alone across the country, that's the last thing I wanted to happen. I felt uncomfortable for the rest of my stay.

I was exhausted and fell asleep almost as soon as I got into that very comfortable bed. The clean, welcoming entrance and cozy room made a good impression, and the staff were friendly. One handle came off in the first room, but they fixed it right away without any hassle. Hutchinson was a friendly town, though the roads were a bit confusing. Great hotel.

For about $100, the two queen room is a solid deal. It was clean and had everything I needed, including a large TV, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The mattresses and sheets were very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate for the price, with a decent range of sweet and savory foods and a waffle maker. I've had better hotel breakfasts, but I'd stay here again if I came back to Hutchinson.
