I’ve stayed here twice now, each time for several nights, and I love it. The rooms are great and the place feels welcoming. Staff at the desk are friendly and always ready to help, and the rest of the team are easy to spot and happy to assist. Shout-out to manager Cliff, who was really accommodating. It feels like places used to, when they worked to earn your business instead of treating you like just another customer. This will be my spot when I visit my son on the Cape, and being able to walk downtown for what you need is great. One thoughtful touch: I kept the privacy sign on my door all day, and housekeeping still left a bag with extra towels and bathroom supplies in case I needed them.

We’re on our second stay and keep extending because we love it. The rooms are nice, the staff are extremely kind and accommodating, and the front desk knows a lot about the weather and local events. Parking can be tough sometimes but is manageable. The bathrooms are pretty small, though. Edit, 10/08/2025: We changed rooms, and this one is a little bigger with a huge, fully covered private balcony. The bathroom’s still small, but that balcony makes up for it. The front desk guy suggested things to do nearby and pointed us to great Cape spots for seals and the sunset. We missed the sunset but caught the full moon. My fiancé keeps saying how amazing the pastries are while he eats them, so I have to mention the great breakfast selection.

I only stayed one night because I’d come to bring flowers to my aunt’s grave, but I wanted to stay the whole week. We’ll be back. The guy working at night was a sweetheart and treated us so nicely. God bless him, and thank you, sir. I never asked his name, but he’s a gentleman!

Hyannis Travel Inn worked out as an excellent value and a great base for exploring the Cape in both directions and visiting the islands. It’s just off Hyannis Main Street and only a few minutes by car from shopping centers. Parking on site was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked having an indoor pool and private balcony. Breakfast had a surprisingly good range of breads and pastries. The hotel was clean and serviceable.

We liked it so much that we added a third night after initially booking just two. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel like family. Main Street’s shops, restaurants, and bars are only a few minutes away on foot, and the ferry is about a 10-minute walk. We could buy ferry tickets right at the hotel. Our room had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave, plus a couple of great little balconies. There are indoor and outdoor pools and an indoor hot tub. Breakfast included coffee, juice, bagels, toast, muffins, other pastries, oatmeal, and yogurt. We’ll definitely come back!
