After midnight, following a long dance competition, we got back to find ants all over the room. I had two exhausted daughters who needed to be up early, and hotels were sold out for the competition during the busiest vacation week of the year. I had to throw away our toiletries. When I called to complain, they hung up on me. I called again in the morning and was told I couldn’t get a refund because I’d stayed. Nadia said she hoped the motel went out of business because she didn’t want to work there anyway. Another woman staying there told me she had ants in her room too. Disgusting, bug-infested place and horrendous customer service. I filed complaints with MasterCard, my bank, and the Better Business Bureau. Save your money and stay far away. Earlier, outdated electrical wiring left us with only two outlets, one connected to a power strip. Plugging in my phone charger knocked out the power, and we had to change rooms in the heat.
