The shower was broken, the refrigerator didn't work, and there was no phone in the room. People blasted music until 3 AM, then started again at 8 AM. I tried calling the front desk from my cell, but no one answered. Very unprofessional.

I've been really thankful for the help I've gotten from the Lamplighter when I was in need. The owners are so welcoming and make an effort to accommodate you, and the staff are ready to assist right away. Rooms are always clean. It's the best price in town, in a great spot near a food truck and the main shopping centers. 10/10, I'd recommend it to anyone new in town or just needing to get away.

The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable, but the shower has been a problem. We told the front office there was no hot water, and they said a new boiler would be installed “tomorrow.” That was about two weeks ago, and the hot water still comes and goes within minutes. With temperatures in the single digits, it's hard to shower. We're paying about $1000 a week, and not being able to take a hot shower after work is horrible.

They were patient with me when I had a problem with my card, and I had no other issues. The people were very kind and welcoming, and the service was great. I'd definitely stay here again if you want a stress-free stay with a home-like feel.
