An unknown man knocked on the door, waited a second, unlocked it, and walked into our room while I was naked on the bed with my one-year-old. That was part of an awful two-day stay. The air was so dry that my family and I developed a dry cough and a fever. The heat didn't work, only the air conditioning did, and it switched on and off every five minutes. The only warmth came from the shower, so you'd have to keep showering to stay warm. The water felt like used water from other rooms, and I got a rash on my face from it. There was no hot water in the morning, so if you wanted a shower, you had to wait until late at night. The beds creaked with every movement and were kind of hard. The breakfast station had only coffee, no food. The cable lineup claimed more than 1,000 channels, but only about six worked, with no Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network. It seemed like they put money into employee pay instead of the place itself. It should be 50/50, not 5/95. Staying there was the worst decision ever.

Ms.May is the sweetest Inns-keeper in existence. The rooms are clean, well priced, and bigger than average, and I got a good night's rest. You'll be short on amenities, but if you're in the southern maryland area, this place is a diamond in the rough. 4/5.

For all 10 days I was there, the elevator was out of order, and I never saw anyone working on it. The rooms were meant to be non-smoking, but as soon as you entered, all you could smell was smoke, and not just cigarette smoke. At night, the neighbor's dog barked late, and on several nights people were going in and out of rooms and yelling in the hallway. Not a good place to stay.

The ceiling in my room was cracking, but the front desk service at check-in was awesome. Laundry is available around the clock. I didn't notice any breakfast. So far, it's been a good stay.

The location was right where I needed it, though there isn't much to do nearby. The room looked nice, but the bed wasn't comfortable and it was only okay otherwise. The supposedly no-smoking floor had a hallway that reeked of weed. It wasn't very clean either, with a booger on the bathroom wall and a tub drip that washed away once the shower ran. I got what I paid for, but it wasn't glamorous.
