We only needed a place so we wouldn’t have to drive in bad weather before my doctor’s appointment the next morning, and this worked exactly for that. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. We weren’t looking for amenities.

I didn’t feel fully safe staying alone in the replacement room, which had the security bar ripped off the door. The first room they assigned hadn’t been cleaned at all, and the linens, towels, and carpets were stained. Everything felt yucky. The hotel photos don’t reflect what I experienced, and I really wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We left within ten minutes and asked for a refund, but were told we’d have to wait until the manager returned in the morning. The woman at the desk said she couldn’t change the checkout date printed on our paperwork. I’ve worked in a hotel, and I’m sure she could have changed it and told her boss we left because the place was awful. She wasn’t helpful, and I have a recording of our conversation, plus photos and videos. The elevator didn’t work, either. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking what felt like the nastiest room ever. This used to be the Laqinta Inn, and I don’t want to stay with this brand again. The bad smell started at the entrance and continued through the hallway, by the ice dispenser, and into the room. The first room was horrible: sour odor, dirty bedding with blood on the sheets, and a black tub. The second room was also bad, with a dirty tub, dusty furniture, and unclean bedding. I’m contacting the health department. If you’re fine with dirt, bugs, and whatever else you can’t see, check in, but I’d tell others to stay away.

The breakfast was pretty sad: old bread, bagels, and waffles, along with burnt coffee. The shower was filthy, with pubic hairs on the wall, urine stains along the bottom of the curtain, and mold in the tub caulking. The room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and there were old flies on the window sills. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Spend your money on an Airbnb instead.
