The breakfast was fine, with the usual hotel choices, and the staff were pleasant. The location was excellent for our trip through, right off 95. The hallways and room walls looked freshly painted, and the carpet seemed fairly new. The hallway smelled unpleasantly of cleaning products, though, and the sink water also had a bad odor.

The breakfast lounge and setup looked better than expected, though we left early and weren’t ready to eat. At checkout, I think the owner was at the front desk, and he was very kind and grateful we’d stayed. The clerk who checked us in around 6:00 p.m. was amazingly kind too. Our room was great, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The only small problems were that there was no hand soap at the sink, which the front desk fixed, and in the morning there was just one packet of caffeinated coffee, the other was decaf, probably an oversight. We’ll definitely use this as our halfway stop when visiting family in Beaufort South Carolina. We live in Dade City Florida.

The beds were comfortable, and the facility was clean and very well maintained. I wasn’t keen on the door opening straight into the vanity area, and the shower water wasn’t very hot. Neither would stop me from staying here again if I’m in the area.

I booked at the last minute because of the price, and the service was friendly. The room was nice, though the tub looked a little dirty. Breakfast got crowded when we went. The food was good, but the only protein was eggs and sausage gravy, and I’d rather have bacon or sausage links. There was just one waffle maker, so there was a line, and the dining area was small. There’s only one elevator, which made the hotel feel crowded, though everyone we met was friendly.
