Indy Hostel

I’ve enjoyed spending time here on more than one visit. The grounds have a lot of space, especially for somewhere so conveniently close to Broad Ripple. I met the owners recently, and they were genuinely lovely people. Some finishing work was still happening after the renovations and upgrades during that visit. The craftsmanship looked really good, and the improvements were nice. It’s a wonderful place.

The Indy Hostel felt cozy and homey, with lots of common spaces to hang out in. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. It was also very clean and organized, with nicely decorated rooms throughout. The price was really good, and I can’t think of a complaint. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The kitchen was nice and had pans, plates, and utensils, and they provide coffee you can brew in the morning. I liked the little hostel and found it pleasant, safe, and nice. The bathrooms are very bare, though, with not even hand soap, so bring your own toiletries. The booking site mentioned bikes, but none were available when I visited. Service was weaker than at other hostels I’ve stayed in. I didn’t get much of a tour or introduction, had to ask other guests what to do about a towel, and never figured out the laundry. The owners weren’t around much. I think you can get help by calling them, but you do have to call. Even so, I’m looking forward to staying here again on my next Indy visit.

The co-ed dorm was a good price for somewhere to sleep for the night. It was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the staff were both friendly and professional. I also had a good time meeting the other guests. I’ll stay again.
