I waited about 10 minutes to check in because nobody was at the front desk. They also asked for the make and model of my vehicle, which felt unnecessary. The breakfast was poor in both quality and selection. At checkout, one employee approved an extra 15 minutes for me to gather my belongings. Soon after, another called and tried to charge a late checkout fee, making it sound like I was being dishonest. It was only 11:07 a.m., and late checkout doesn't start until 1 p.m. When I left, they refused to give me a receipt and said they needed to inspect the room before returning my deposit. I'd stayed one night and barely used the room. Three days later it still hadn't been refunded. An employee said someone had “forgotten” to process it, and a week later I'm still waiting. I travel often and rarely have issues, but this was one of my most disappointing hotel experiences. Staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I felt disrespected and unfairly treated. Travelers should be cautious booking here.

The room was adequate, though the hotel shows its age, with wear and damage on most common area surfaces. There were 4 of us in the room, but only 2 towels and no body wash. I went to the desk for 2 more towels and body wash and got questioned about why I needed extra towels. I explained I'd already taken 2 towels to the pool because it was completely out, and the desk person had delivered those there. You'd think a room for 4 people would be reason enough to ask for one towel per person. Wifi barely worked. It wouldn't connect on one device and only just worked on the other.

The room wasn't great. A bathroom light was broken, the working one buzzed, and the shower curtain rod bent down so the curtain couldn't work as intended. Each night around 1:00 AM, some alarm (?) went off in a nearby room, playing birds chirping until about 5-6 AM. There was also lots of stomping around midnight. Bring a white noise machine, and look elsewhere if you have an early start or important meetings. At breakfast, someone I guessed was management rudely implied I was a non-paying guest and demanded my room number. He had no name tag, uniform, or other way to identify himself. I said I wouldn't give it unless he could show he worked for the hotel. He walked off saying he'd get someone else, then never came back. I was wearing a business suit and hadn't eaten anything yet. Just ok.

With my very elderly, handicapped parents, both in their late 80s, the room conditions made me worried about their comfort and safety. It was one of the coldest days of the year, yet the heat was completely off when we checked in. They had to keep their coats on for over an hour while the room warmed enough to get ready for bed. Later, the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Paper floated and wouldn't go down, then through the night it got worse until it wouldn't flush solids or paper at all. I tried to fix it myself without success. Because it was late and my parents had limited mobility, we decided we had to stay. This should have been caught before we arrived. A toilet that doesn't work would be obvious during cleaning, and it raises concerns about room inspections. At checkout I reported everything, and the clerk only said, “I will make a note of it.” No apology or acknowledgment of how serious it was. As a frequent traveler, I felt unnoticed and disrespected. I'm concerned other elderly or disabled guests could face this too. I would appreciate acknowledgment of the feedback, confirmation that the room and inspection procedures have been reviewed, and appropriate consideration for our stay. The hotel's response was, “You should have let us know while you were here.” My parents are HANDICAPPED, and changing rooms would have taken a HUGE effort. Who turns the heat OFF in the middle of winter? If it's not busy, turn it down, but it should never be off. HORRIBLE HOTEL. They didn't acknowledge my feedback respectfully. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
