We lived here for over three years, and watched the place get worse. You can see the seasons change in the photos, but the building still isn’t maintained. The basics were a mess: no AC or heat, mold, dirty and broken filters, leaks and flooding, wet hallways, trash by the chutes, and dog pee and feces in the elevator. The elevator, security locks, cameras, gym equipment, and treadmills were broken, and the gym had no AC. The pool was empty, unusable, and moldy. Maintenance was rarely available, the staff seemed disorganized, ownership kept changing, and there was property damage and theft from the mailroom. It started feeling like an Airbnb hub, maybe to keep people from noticing the long-term problems and make quick money from the downtown location. The lobby was left with signs from unhappy residents, and someone shattered the outside check-in smart device. People also tore down posters and put up their own signs asking for heat and AC. Nothing was resolved, while residents were still expected to pay full rent. Our lease said the apartments were smoke-free, but the next-door neighbor smoked every night. Smoke seeped into our unit so badly that I had to leave home and go outside for fresh air. We reported it to the front office several times. They said they knew and would address it, but nothing happened. Our filters also weren’t cleaned or maintained, and were visibly caked with dust. Please live somewhere else.
