Sleep Inn & Suites Ingleside - Corpus Christi

I definitely won’t stay here again. On our last night, people kept trying to get into our rooms, and we had two of them. Earlier, housekeeping tried to enter my room four times in an hour after I’d said we were fine and didn’t need towels. They wouldn’t knock, just barge in. The sheets were still damp, and the rooms smelled funny. Breakfast was cold and hard. We went at 9:25, and the woman seemed irritated with us. She kept wiping every place we went and touched, as if trying to make us leave. The pool and gym are tiny, maybe room for one or two people.

I stayed five days, and this was one of the better nearby hotels for clean rooms, friendly staff, and breakfast. The breakfast was much better when the lady who usually makes it was there. On the one day she wasn’t, it was plain and boring like at any other hotel. I missed her. She takes pride in her work, and you can really tell the difference when she’s away. She deserves the tips in her jar. Thank you, breakfast lady.

The rooms were immaculate and didn’t feel humid like so many places near the water. The price was good, and the staff were friendly and helped us with directions. I also appreciated the little laundry room, which let me keep our clothes clean between day trips. As soon as we opened the door, it was clear cleanliness matters here. All in all, a great stay.

The manager was friendly and great. When we had a question about the bill, he even called us from home. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was convenient for Rockford and Aransas beaches.
