Geneva Motel

We got in at 2am and needed somewhere to rest before heading to our next destination. This was a great fit: the room was spotless, the place had good energy, and check-in was easy. The attendant was friendly. Clean, convenient, and affordable. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at this same location on all three of our LA visits. My girlfriend plays music at local venues and can practice here without any issue, which we love. The staff are welcoming and very hospitable. We’re from in state, but it’s also handy for international travelers, about a 10-15 minute drive from LAX. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in LA, 10/10.

I stayed about 6 days in September because I was working nearby that week. The off-street parking was ideal for my motorcycle, and the owners were nice about having some items drop shipped to me. I had no real problems with the amenities and would consider staying again. On my last day, my work site needed me for another day or two, so I tried to pay for extra nights. My cards kept getting declined. The woman at the desk seemed irritated and said she was being charged each time, which I doubt. I’ve run cards in my shop and never been charged for a transaction that didn’t go through. She declined another round, but later I learned my bank had flagged my accounts because I was using them in California after mostly paying cash up to then. Aside from that little hiccup, the place was fine.

I used this place for both the first and last nights of my vacation since it’s close to the airport. The vintage design gave the spacious room a fun feel, and check-in was quick and easy. The neighborhood is a little rundown, but if you’re used to city life, it should be fine. I walked there at 1am; it was quiet, though it’s definitely not a suburban area. You can get around LA easily using nearby bus and metro lines. A good spot to sleep before a flight without spending a fortune.
