Nature Coast Inn and Cottages

The café food was really good, especially the hash browns, which were the best I’ve ever had. My room was clean and cozy, and the mini fridge was probably my favorite thing about it. No problems during my stay. One small idea: a motion activated light in the upstairs hall might help, since the hallway light shines right at the door. Nothing major, just a thought.

The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to use the Roku TV, and I got too busy to ask for help. I didn’t really miss it, though, and enjoyed the quiet evenings. I stayed in Cottage #11 Mulberry for a long weekend with my dog while visiting friends. It was clean and comfortable, and the advertised amenities were great. My friends came over and we made use of the heated screened in pool. We also ate at the on-site restaurant, which serves breakfast from 7am to 2 pm. The food and service were excellent, and the maple infused pulled pork sandwich was delicious enough to be worth a trip for locals. There’s a great breakfast menu too. I’d happily stay again and recommend the place. Thank you Connie for a great weekend at your Inn & Cottage!!!

The café was a handy spot for breakfast or lunch, and our room had a lovely attached sunroom, plus a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. It’s an ideal location for Crystal River. We had a homey stay, with a spotless room and bathroom, and quick communication about check-in. Just be aware that the upstairs rooms mean climbing an outdoor flight of stairs. If mobility is a concern, I’d suggest asking about a cottage or a room on the main floor. We’re looking forward to coming back and using the pool.

Lollipop's Cafe and Bakery is right on the property, and it’s fantastic. The grounds have plenty to do, with a pool, a fire pit with wood ready to burn, a grill for BBQing, and a game room with a jigsaw puzzle anyone can add to while passing through. I’ve always preferred Mom and Pop hotels and motels to big chains, though they’re getting hard to find. We’re lucky to have this place in Levy County. If you want a peaceful getaway with simple pleasures and time to relax, I recommend Nature Coast Inn and Cottages.
