We were in a rough spot, looking for somewhere to stay in the middle of winter, and the owner, Ali, even drove me to Chase Bank when my account was blocked and I couldn't withdraw money. The staff are nice, and he's a decent guy who works with you. The first week wasn't great since the TV didn't work and there was no Wi-Fi, but we talked with him about a TV plan and he installed both TV and Wi-Fi after that. It seems like you just have to ask and he'll probably help. I give the motel five stars for the decent people there. One bad experience, though: don't answer the door. I had a bad interaction there with a woman named sarah. Good luck, Ali.

I've been staying here since April, and the new owner has made a lot of progress improving the property. It's quiet and peaceful for the area, and people leave each other alone. Looking forward to seeing how things develop.

The room is okay, but I've had a hard time getting management so I can pay. I've been trying since 3 pm yesterday, stopped by the office several times, and even had my boss bring me by at 9 this morning. Nobody answered then either. Now the phone number seems disconnected or out of service. I'll try again after work. This is the only way I can reach management.

Bed bugs everywhere. I paid $45 for one hour and got bitten countless times. I told them about it an hour after checking in, and they said they'd inspect, then came back saying there were no bugs. They basically kicked me out without a refund or anything. Even the police didn't care. It was a terrible Michigan winter night, and somehow the experience got worse. Don't waste your time or money, I'd rather sleep anywhere else.

I wasn't expecting much from a $50 motel on Michigan Ave, but finding what looked like a broken crack pipe on the floor was still messed up. I pretended I hadn't seen it and barely lay on the bed. I only expected a little more than what I got.
