Riverfront Hotel

Christina checked us in and was so nice. She walked us to our room, showed us how to get to the river, and pointed out the laundry and tiny gym. She was patient with my grandparents, who didn't understand English, and really deserves a raise. The place was peaceful and quiet, and everyone we met kept to themselves. I also liked that we could walk down to the river and drive to Menards in under five minutes. We had a really fun stay.

Pam made the visit comfortable with her friendly manner and great service. Erika was awesome too. The only downsides were no pool and no elevator. Give Pam a raise!

The riverfront access was nice, and for two nights the experience was okay overall. The rooms looked shabby and smelled musty, and the door locks weren't working. Staff were alright, though one person was rude and offensive when we went to use a grill the hotel management had clearly set aside for guests. He shouted that it was his personal property and accused us of using it without permission, which caused a lot of needless confusion.

I switched hotels because I didn't have hot water during my stay. The place was very dated, the pool area had been closed and drained for quite a while, and there was no restaurant or bar. Breakfast was just two day-old rolls and about a quarter gallon of milk. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.
