After the evening ice storm, the front desk let us know what conditions were like outside when we checked out. We arrived after 11 p.m. and were checked in right away for our one-night stay. They clearly care about their guests, and the service was excellent.

That automatic pancake maker was a hoot in the morning. You wave your hand and a pancake comes out. Our room was decent, minimal but adequate, with good beds and everything working. We thought the hotel was a good value. We arrived later in the evening on a UP color tour bus and found out we'd been shorted a room. I don't know how that got worked out, but we were fortunate to get a room.

I wouldn't stay here again. The room was dirty, and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. Most of the staff were courteous, except when I tried to pay for my snack with a card.

The bed was okay, though not very comfortable, and the rest of the place was decent. Breakfast choices were limited. Some fruit and orange juice or milk would have been nice. The worst part was that when I booked on Booking, I didn't realize it was pet friendly, and I didn't expect to sleep with fleas ☹️

They were friendly and welcoming to us and our pet. The complimentary continental breakfast was pretty basic, though the automatic pancake machine was fun to watch. The rooms were clean and quiet, but the bed felt a bit too hard for me.
