The rooms are nice and the bed is decent, and the front desk clerks are nice. But they never told me about a linen service fee at check-in, then locked me out of my room more than once when I didn’t pay it because I don’t use their sheets or towels. It’s one of the cheaper options in the area for a reason. My three-star rating was only for the price, and I don’t recommend it. Most guests seem to live here. People let their dogs leave messes around the property and smoke right outside the doors and windows, so there are feces and cigarette butts outside. The halls always smell of marijuana. They also left the parking lot icy after the Jan 2026 ice storm. The person next door knocks on the wall when I snore, and one guest threatened me when I was just standing in my doorway waiting for housekeeping. The front desk can’t control this clientele.

The lobby is basically storage, and the dated rooms looked nothing like the website. There was dog hair all over the elevator carpet, and the third floor smelled like a sewer. The young woman at the desk had dirty clothes with bleach stains. The room called Southside California came out smelling strongly of marijuana. This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Las Colinas is getting out of hand. Until you visit, you’d never know what was waiting. I’m still in shock, and had to tell a stranger what I’d just seen. I went on a tour and am so glad I didn’t book online. This place is going downhill and looks like it should be free. People have a very East Dallas feel. It felt like the projects with an upgrade that was brand new once, then run down by those types. You might expect this in Dallas, but never Las Colinas. I’d sleep in my car before trying this, even as a last resort. I’d take my chances with Budget. This is bare, BARE minimum. It should cost $30 for two nights. A TIDY MESS!!!

The rooms are up to date and well kept, and the staff really care about looking after guests. The two women at the front office are beautiful and a delight to see each morning. Man, this is the best extended-stay hotel I’ve been in. I’ll refer everyone to stay here.

The staff are AWESOME, always friendly, helpful, and courteous, and they make sure everything works and you have what you need. I love it here! The laundry and exercise rooms are a bonus, along with free internet and basic cable. There are also drink and snack machines and elevators.

Dirty sheets and a rude front desk made this my worst hotel experience in Dallas. We’d come from Houston, and at 2pm the desk clerk said we couldn’t check in until 3pm. Once we got into the room, the sheets were dirty. Check-out was at 11am, but they’d been knocking on our door since 9am, trying to make us leave. I won’t come back. If you don’t want to feel bad or waste your money, don’t stay here.
