Bud N' Mary's Fishing Marina

We’re still waiting to hear from management about our canceled reservation, and the front desk response so far has felt dismissive, like our booking didn’t matter. We had booked a three-person charter for April 25th as part of a two-day family fishing trip with my 5-year-old son and 65-year-old father. First we were told the boat had been double-booked. Then another staff member said a different charter bought the whole boat, which was why our confirmed reservation was canceled. Those explanations don’t match. Canceling a family booking after a larger payout came along is extremely disappointing and feels unprofessional, especially for a marina with Bud N’ Mary’s reputation. If they handle this properly and make it right, I’ll update the review. I genuinely hope they do, but so far it feels like revenue mattered more than honoring an existing commitment.

Captain Andrew was top notch, pitching in with the mates and making the whole trip even better. Cater and Kyle were friendly, attentive, funny, and professional on our wonderful charter aboard the Miss Islamorada. We also caught fish. Highly recommended, and we’ll be going again soon. Thanks for a great time.

Kyle knew his stuff and kept the trip fun and easygoing. We caught a ton of fish, but what I’ll remember most is how he included my 11-year-old son the whole time, helping him learn and making it a trip he won’t forget. We had an incredible time on the Miss Islamorada from start to finish. If you want a charter with good results and a great experience, this is it. We’ll definitely book again.

We finally landed a swordfish on our fourth try, just minutes before heading back, and AJ and Luke stayed positive the whole time. They worked together seamlessly and handled everything like masters of their craft on Bud and Mary’s #22 swordfish charter. Couldn’t recommend them enough. It was an incredible trip and a top-notch team.
