We’d let them know we would arrive late, after 7:30 pm, but when we got there around 7:30, our room still hadn’t been cleaned. It was left just as the previous guests had left it, and there was no cleaning crew on site, even though it was supposed to be ready by 4:00 pm. Room #3 was also supposed to have a hot tub, but there wasn’t one. They had no other room for us, so we had to drive another 62 miles to Rexburg to find a hotel room. It was a holiday weekend, and the places we stopped along the way were full. It was awful arriving that late with nowhere to stay. Expedia did refund us, and I’m glad we hadn’t booked directly. I don’t know what would have happened then.

The cabin was adorable for the price, and the room was clean and well kept. Staff sent check-in instructions ahead of time, so we didn’t need to go to the front desk. The area and restaurant were great, and the shower felt straight out of a storybook. Just fantastic.

The cabin itself was nice, but the cleaning was awful. There were stains on the sheets, dust and cobwebs by the windows, and a Bonet left behind the bed by previous visitors. It didn’t look like the floors or beds were being cleaned properly. I stayed here with some friends and was not impressed. When I showed the owner pictures of the problems in his cabin, he denied everything. I’d stay somewhere far away from this place.

We weren’t impressed. The beds were awful, the bedspreads were dirty, and the toilet leaked. The shower head was broken, there was nowhere proper to sit, and the only nightstand was a metal bar stool with a lamp on it. The microwave had burn marks, the refrigerator was very noisy, and the TV had no available channels and wouldn’t cast from our phones.

I’ve stayed here several times in different cabins, and they’ve always been clean. It’s also in a great central location.
