I was here for a wedding, and Watermill Caterers nearby was beautiful, as was the wedding. Back at the hotel, the bistro food was comforting and the alcoholic drinks were good. The staff were friendly, and the security at the exit of the handicapped entrance seemed necessary, I guess. They're building another section of the hotel, and the wallpaper was buckling, perhaps left from the former establishment, Marriot. The tub was clogged, but maintenance came promptly and pulled out a huge wad of hair. There wasn't a bright light for doing makeup. The rooms need major renovation, and the shower head speaks for itself in the picture. It has a less-fancy casino hotel feel. Jakes 58 Hotel and Casino was a one-and-done for me. The website fooled me.

I finally got here and had a great time. The OTB was fun, and the slots were good, though I prefer poker slots. All the security staff were very nice. It was quite a walk, though. I miss playing regular cards without the AI virtual dealer, who really needs a makeover.

I came to cash in a lottery ticket and was impressed by the place. The people were professional and courteous, and security at the entrance was great. It was louder than I like. Finding a spot in the parking lot was crazy, though valet parking is available for guests. I'm not sure whether there's a fee; sometimes there is.

The security staff were courteous, which was the one bright spot and the reason for the single star. Getting inside was strange: after the metal detector, guards stared and directed me to a facial recognition camera, then scanned my government ID. After all that, I wasn't even given a card. The entrance was narrow, with games and people packed together like sardines. We reached a more open area and took the escalator upstairs, where I stayed because there was more room. The machines sucked. The whole place felt bizarre and gave me bad vibes. I can't explain it, but it scared me, and I'll never go back. Adios forever.

I've visited many times and have always had good interactions with the staff. Elizabeth, the front desk manager, especially stands out. She goes above and beyond and is truly a gem. It's a very nice facility.
