Hilton Garden Inn Ithaca

We booked the Wharton Suite and found it spacious and cozy, with one and a half bathrooms. Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is right by the commons, with quaint shops and restaurants an easy walk away. Most places on the Cornell campus are about an eight-minute drive, and there’s free parking in the garage across the street. Cafes and bars in the building make it easy to grab a cocktail or a bite without going out. I’d stay here next time I’m in town.

From the seventh floor we had a beautiful, spacious room with outstanding views. The hotel is clean and well cared for, right in Downtown Ithaca with easy access to public transportation and nearby breakfast options. There’s also a pool in good condition and open for use. It was expensive, and breakfast wasn’t included.

Rae helped me when I booked and picked a room with amazing views, including Cayuga Lake, since I wasn’t sure which side of the hotel to choose. By coincidence, she was at the front desk when we arrived and checked us in. She was just as lovely in person as she’d been on the phone. This was our first stay at Hilton Garden Inn Ithaca, and we’d definitely come back. The hotel is spacious and very clean, with beautiful rooms that look recently updated. The air conditioning was nice and cold. Parking is across the street, and they validate your ticket so you don’t have to pay. There’s a restaurant and bar on the main level, and breakfast isn’t included, though you can eat at the restaurant. My only small issue was figuring out which TV channels were available, since there weren’t many. Pro tip, Ithaca falls is a four-minute drive and a three-minute walk from the bridge. It’s absolutely beautiful.

Chelsea, the hostess, provided excellent service, and thanks to Rae and Dwayne at the front desk too. This is a nice HGI in a convenient downtown Ithaca spot, with parking included. Breakfast is average and costs extra, though Hilton members get a partial food credit toward it.
