Comfort Suites Jackson-Cape Girardeau

The pool was the main reason I paid that price, but it wasn't heated at all. They still charged full price and never told me it was essentially out of order.

We switched rooms and the second one was dirty too. In the first room there was mold and hair everywhere, what looked like blood on the blanket, and a spider crawling in the sink. The front desk checked both rooms, tried to say the blood was bleach, then wiped hair off the other bed and said there were no more rooms. They asked if we were going to stay or not. Don't waste your time or money here.

I spend about 28 days a month in hotels, and the reviews here don't sound like they come from a manager. A manager would at least use a first name. The wording makes it sound like an AI response. None of those replies address how the inconvenience affects the customer or how to make it right. Computers don't care about your feelings, and they can't tell that canned replies just brush people off. You can check my reviews, I post a lot, and 75% aren't that great. I travel and try to leave as many as I can, though I wish I could leave more happy ones. I've been a Choice customer for a couple of decades, and these reviews don't make the brand look good.

We only stayed because everywhere we usually go was full, and this place wasn't worth the price. The bedding was dirty and the room hadn't been cleaned well. The breakfast area was dirty too. The person at the front desk was friendly, but the hotel overall wasn't clean.
