DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jackson

We'd return for the hospitality alone. My partner and I arrived exhausted after an already difficult travel day, and Josten went above and beyond to help us. We were incredibly grateful for his effort. The stay was decent, much like most places in this Hilton range. The beds are usually the best part of a Hilton, but this time Josten was the highlight.

We only stayed one night, and check-in was quick and informative. The room had been freshly remodeled and was clean. We stopped by the pool area but didn't swim. After nine hours of driving, I was relieved to arrive somewhere calm and welcoming. Trey greeted me with a warm smile and an even warmer chocolate chip walnut cookie. Dinner and drinks were served by Kat, while Gio looked after every need I had. Kat kept up a friendly conversation as she served my drinks. At breakfast, Rachel and Jackie welcomed me with cheerful smiles. Their attention to detail and genuine care helped me recover from a long, tiring trip. Traveling from Texas to Buffalo, I stopped here to rest, and the experience was wonderful from the door to the room. The staff were friendly, and the spacious room was visibly clean, smelled clean, and felt clean. Breakfast staff were great, and so was the food. The eggs sunny side up were perfect, and the potatoes were tender. If you're passing through and need somewhere to stay, this is a good place to lay your head.
