Elk Refuge Inn

We loved the room, view, porch, size, amenities, and location, and thought it might be our best stay yet on our Yellowstone tour. Then, just as we settled in for the night, mice started appearing. We told management right away. They came and set traps, but offered no other solution. They pointed to a sign on the door asking guests to keep room doors closed because of wildlife. We'd never left our doors open, and mice are rodents, not wildlife. We got up and left early after spending the night playing exterminator for them. I'm terrified of mice, so the whole thing put a real damper on our stay. While quickly loading the kids and our things, I left an item behind. They offered to mail it back for $20.

Just outside Jackson and opposite the Elk refuge, this is a convenient stop when passing through. The views are wonderful, the rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff helpful. Stop here if you're passing through Jackson, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back for sure.

After a long week of vacation, this was exactly what we needed: a clean, comfortable room with a large window looking toward the Elk reserve area, crisp white sheets, and perfect pillows. It's ideally placed between Jackson and the airport, and check-in and checkout were easy. Communication was great, and the office lady answered all our questions quickly. The room was well stocked with towels, shampoo, and lotions. Having a fridge, Keurig, and microwave made things easy. We'll stay again!

The room was just right, with plenty of space so we weren't on top of each other, and it was nicely decorated. It came with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and hot cider, plus a microwave and refrigerator. The place was very clean, the staff friendly, and the location great. Absolutely lovely, and they even offer free laundry.
