Holiday Inn Express and Suites Jackson

Mindy, the breakfast attendant, was outstanding. The food was well prepared and kept fully stocked throughout service, and she was constantly cleaning. Check-in and check-out service were excellent too, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed our entire stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

Having an Olive Garden right in the parking lot made meals really convenient, and I liked the lobby sandwich board listing local events. I spotted a toy show there and ended up going before my event, which was a great surprise. It was nice of the hotel to highlight things happening nearby. The artwork made the stay feel personal. The birch tree image in the lobby caught my eye because birch trees are my favorite. In the room, I loved the soft, blurry lights in the artwork because they look like the way I see the world without my glasses. It felt oddly comforting. The hotel was clean and well maintained, our room was comfortable, and I had no problems during my visit. It was a wonderful stay.

Our RV park fell through after 9 p.m., so we booked the Holiday Inn Jackson, MI at the last minute. We didn't arrive until after 1 a.m., but they gave us a late checkout. The room was toasty, which was great since it was freezing outside, and they accommodated our three little Grem-mutts. The dogs were happy, and so were we. Five happy, warm, tired souls. The shower was the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel, so hats off to the cleaning crew. It was a wonderful stay.

We were in town for two nights. The staff were all very nice, the room was clean, and we enjoyed the free breakfast. We had two full beds, but they were a bit too firm for us. The room doors shut very loudly and woke us during the night. Apart from that, it was a good stay.
