Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jackson by IHG

The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable king bed, a mini fridge, microwave, sink, and a couch with a pull-out bed. It didn't feel old, and the view was really pretty. The hotel had free parking, fresh breakfast every morning, and unlimited free coffee all day and night. The kids loved watching the pancake machine pour the batter and cook the pancakes. I was impressed by the food and range of options, which changed each morning instead of being the same every day. Alysha at reception deserves a special mention. She went beyond what I'd expect from a moderately priced hotel, and her care and service beat what I've had at many high-end hotels. Thank you, Alyshia, you made my stay so much better. I hope management reads this, because the world needs more kind people like you. The breakfast cook and cleaner I met were also kind and helpful, though I didn't get their names. From booking online through check-in with Alysha, the whole stay was great. I was surprised by how much the hotel and staff offered for what I paid. I loved staying here and would definitely return and recommend it to anyone nearby.

This was pretty pricey for a Holiday Inn, and there was no hot tub. I came specifically for one and was told it hadn't been working for over eight months. If you're hoping for hot tub vibes, don't stay here.

The front desk service was terrible, rude, and hostile. We'll never use Holiday Inn again because of it. With so many hotels, VRBOs, and Airbnbs around, you'd think they'd be more accommodating. Why work in hospitality if you hate people so much?

The location worked well for a one-night stop in wine country, and the hotel was pretty nice, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and free breakfast. But the hot tub was closed, and that's really the only reason I booked it. I was very disappointed.
