Parking caused a problem: the small lot was full, and we parked across the street, only to get a Town of Jackson ticket the next morning. Call the front desk for directions to overflow parking if the lot is full. Management could also include those instructions in the booking confirmation with the room number and door code. That would have helped us before arrival. The bathroom in our room was filthy and neglected, with visible mold, water damage, rotting trim, and crumbling caulk around the tub and baseboards, as shown in the photos. Maybe ours was the one room with this problem, since the pictures online look decent. Management made things right with us, though, so I'm changing my rating from one star to four for their customer service.

The jet tub looked clean at first, but when we used it there was a lot of black gunk in it. Our family room gave us the extra space we wanted, and the bed, pillows, and blankets were good. The room was fairly clean, and you can see the renovations, though some of the work wasn't finished neatly. Sound carried through the walls: we heard our neighbor talking and the upstairs guest walking and rolling luggage.

We got a fantastic price, and the location was great. Check-in was easy, and the room was clean and well equipped. It had a fireplace, but we couldn't get it to turn on, maybe that was user error. The walls seemed thin since we could hear people in other rooms just walking around.

The price is right, but the room was cold when I arrived. The heat worked, though I wish it had been on already, and the wood floor made the room feel even colder. The shower had barely any water flow. The walls are paper thin. Even on a quiet weekend, they put the few guests in neighboring rooms, so I could hear every word next door at 11 p.m. Then people were loud at 5 a.m., with nobody at the front desk to contact. They need quiet hours like a regular hotel, and the place needs updates.

For a budget stay in Jackson, this worked well. It's an easy walk to the square, parking was readily available, and the place was clean, comfortable, and functional. Nothing fancy.
