OYO Hotel Jackson North I-55

By far my worst travel experience. I booked and paid online in full for my boyfriend, who'd driven 15 hours and needed a bed. At the listed address, he was told the place was closed and had moved up the street. At the new address, they refused to check him in and said there were no rooms. Oyo customer service tried calling the location but couldn't reach anyone. They only offered to escalate the issue and get back to me, and said a solution could take 48 hours. Expedia also tried contacting the property several times without success. The hotel was terrible, and customer support was useless. I would never recommend staying here under any circumstances.

I had to find a last-minute place on a work trip after my original booking was canceled because a local college event had left many hotels overbooked. It was late and I needed a bed, so I stayed despite knowing it was risky. My experience matched what others have said. I don't know how this place is allowed to rent rooms. I felt uncomfortable with how long the "maintenance " guy spent in my room while installing the portable AC unit. I was aware of my surroundings and felt relatively safe once I'd locked the door using the screw I was given to operate the inside lock. There was no hot water or TV, lots of bugs, and the place generally felt unsafe. You won't rest here. It should more than likely be torn down. Who knows what awful things have happened or will keep happening if it's allowed to operate this way. I have pictures and details to document my stay.

I was robbed in this garbage hotel by the owner and staff. I contacted the police and am honestly hoping they receive extremely long prison sentences. When I called the main company about it, they said they couldn't transfer me to management. After filing the police report and doing some digging myself, I found out the owner and staff were responsible for doing this to multiple people. I'm hoping long sentences are handed down so no one else suffers because of this place and these people.

The building looked partly burned and like it was still falling apart. Inside, the room was dirty, the bathroom was awful, and there was a gap under the front door. The HVAC was so loud, too. I only stayed because I’d already paid. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in, hands down. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really dislike someone. One star is generous.
