We stayed one night on a road trip because we wanted somewhere cheap, and the price was about what you’d expect. The person at the desk was nice and polite. I felt okay leaving the car overnight because the parking lot was well lit and visible from our room. The sheets seemed clean apart from cigarette burns, but there was hair in the towels, which I only noticed too late. The room smelled damp and strongly of old cigarette smoke. There was no window or ventilation for the hot tub, which gave me the creeps and may have been behind the smell. After a while we got used to it. The room might suit someone looking for a night of fun, I guess. People were hanging around outside the rooms when we arrived, and if I’d been there without my boyfriend, I wouldn’t have felt safe. I wouldn’t recommend it for women traveling alone.

We stopped here on the way to New Orleans, just needing a place to sleep, and it was the least expensive room we found. The clean room, comfortable bed, and hot shower were all we needed. It was the best economy hotel we’ve stayed at in a while. There’s no coffee, breakfast, or other frills, but that was fine.

The room was clean and spacious, and the manager was accommodating. My only complaint was the person in the room behind mine playing fairly loud music until around 10 pm on three nights in a row.

I stayed here for three months and thought it was a really good hotel. Jack was fair and helpful to rent from. Burger King, Kroger's, Ace Hardware, and CVS are just down the road.
