Wyoming Inn of Jackson Hole

I love how the rustic Western style makes this place feel like home, especially sitting by the fireplace, one of my favorite spots. Megan, Sam, and Jennifer at the front desk are really nice, and Megan is a great help with planning tours. The food at The Whistling Grizzly is so good for both dinner and breakfast. Kimi and Drew know a lot about the restaurant scene and Jackson area. Ask Sam and Kimi about local hiking trails. Also, a special shout-out to Rafael in Maintenance, who helped jump-start my boyfriend’s truck, and to Maria in housekeeping, who cleaned our room. One of the best places to stay in any season!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. Free snacks are there for everyone, with hot tea, coffee, and water available 24/7. I was really satisfied with the rooms. I can tell when a room is outdated, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all here. Very happy with the whole experience, and I’d definitely recommend staying a night or two.

We enjoyed the spa and gym, and every staff member we met was kind, professional, and helpful. Theo was a delightful concierge. Early this morning, a gentleman from the Ukraine made a fire for my husband, though I missed his name. Kenny, Amery, and Megan at the desk were also kind, informative, and helpful. It’s been a lovely stay at the Wyoming Inn, and I highly recommend it if you’re staying in Jackson Hole.

The covered reception area is large, so loading and unloading passengers and luggage is easy even in snow or rain. The location is handy, just a few minutes outside central Jackson, and the hotel is generally quiet. Still, if your room faces the back, trash trucks emptying the dumpsters can wake you between 3 and 5 a.m. Rooms are comfortable, with a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and large TV, though the lighting could be better for reading. There’s room in the big lobby for small groups to gather by the fireplace. Coffee, tea, and water are often complimentary, and other sundries can be bought there.
