Even with the highway nearby and a train yard across the street, it was very quiet. I only heard a guest or two coming and going, and the other guests were friendly and cordial. The staff were friendly too, and the room was clean, with a big TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Breakfast is available, though it's a very basic continental spread. I flew in for an event from 2/28-3/2 and changed hotels because I wanted to be closer to it. I wasn't sure whether to book online through a third party or talk to the front desk, but the clerk worked out a deal I was happy with. The hotel is right off the highway, so it's easy to go either way. I walked to dinner at Waffle House, and next door there's a Pilot gas and truck stop with a Subway where I got fruit and water. There's also a pizza place and Arby's nearby. The beaches and a yoga studio in Jacksonville were about 34 minutes away, easy to find, with lots to do. I'd recommend this as a safe, budget-friendly option if you're passing through.

I spotted a little Red Roof Inn sign on I 10 just before 301 and decided to stop. The owners were kind and helpful, and the remodeled room was really clean. I liked the lighting and all the plugs for my electronics, and the large new Smart TV was a great bonus. It felt like finding an oasis.

After a long day on the road, we made a last-minute stop and were lucky to get one of the final two rooms. The staff were wonderful, and our room was spotless, quiet, and dog-friendly. Restaurants are close by, too. They offer free breakfast, though sadly we didn't have time to enjoy it. A great stay just when we needed one.

I've been stopping here for years while heading south. It's easy to reach from 301 and I-10, and the rooms have been updated. The beds are fine and the room was clean, though the bathrooms could use some updating. Pets are allowed, with fast food places and service stations around. A good place to stop for the night.

It's conveniently close to the interstate, gas stations, and a Waffle House. The room was decent and had plenty of space, but changing the TV channel from bed was pretty much impossible. A fan would be a great addition. The service made up for what the room was lacking, though, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
