We stayed in Jacksonville for a week while visiting the Mayo Clinic, and the location worked out great. The spacious room had a kitchen, so we didn’t have to eat out for every meal. Staff were friendly and helpful, and when other guests got loud after midnight one night, they handled it quickly. I’d absolutely stay here again if we’re back in Jacksonville.

For my work trip, the quiet was a huge plus. I had plenty to do, and really appreciated the full kitchen, a nice desk, and fast internet. I paid $300 for three nights, and as someone who’s very picky, I really loved this place. The renovations look great, and everything needed for two people is there. The bed is firm and comfortable, with great pillows and soft linens. Water pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The location is nice, with restaurants and other hotels nearby.

Tasha, the General Manager, made me feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. Candlewood is in a peaceful, quiet location that’s great for relaxing. I had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.

Infuriating. I booked through my company’s travel program, American Express, but when I tried to check in, I was told the manager had canceled my reservation because my “agent didn’t have a card on file.” My agent is AMERICAN EXPRESS, and I’m pretty sure they have my card information. The desk agent seemed not to care at all. The attitude was basically, sorry, not sorry.

I was recovering from surgery during my stay, and everyone was kind and made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. The staff were all polite, and the room was clean and well equipped. My only issue was that it felt very humid even with the A/C set to dry. Staff said they’d look into it further. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and would come back.
