The staff were attentive and really friendly, which I appreciated. The building is older, and management seems aware of the spots that could use a little TLC. My room was clean as far as I could tell, with a pretty view over the pond at sunset. The bed felt a bit firm, and breakfast was just okay, though edible, as hotel breakfasts can be hit or miss. Still, it was a nice stay, and I’d come back if I’m in town again.

Breakfast stood out compared with similar hotels, especially the choice of waffle flavors. Our room was clean and nice, and we got upgraded to a suite as Hilton Honors members, which was a pleasant touch. The neighborhood felt safe and upscale, with several restaurants an easy walk away. I’d stay here again.

The lobby was a great place for our group to gather, with lots of seats. The pool isn’t big or fancy, but it was well kept and had a handicap lift. Everything felt clean and welcoming, the staff at the desk and housekeeping were wonderful, and the location was super convenient.

I was at Hampton Inn & Suites for three weeks on a work trip and got a suite upgrade as a gold member. My room was cleaned every day. I could tell when Elizabeth had been by because she made the bed and left her card asking me to fill out a TripAdvisor review. I left her a tip since I appreciated how much pride she took in her work.
