We’ve stayed here twice and would recommend it. It’s in a quiet spot, with easy access to Atlantic Blvd and close to the 295. The property and rooms are very clean, and the friendly staff are helpful. They welcome pets, and breakfast has both hot and cold choices, including fresh cinnamon rolls. There’s also a clean outdoor pool ready for a swim, though it isn’t heated.

Grace, the General Manager, was absolutely amazing, and everyone at the front desk was very nice. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had lovely hot water. I stayed a few days ago and really enjoyed it. When I’m in Jacksonville visiting my daughter, this will be my go-to place 🥰

Mario went out of his way to find me a dog-friendly room when I arrived a day early. Great guy and excellent service. The coffee was great, and the breakfast was really good, especially the delicious cinnamon rolls. The place was super nice and clean. Only thing is, being right next to the overpass can make it a bit confusing.

Julie at the front desk helped us out after our cruise when I called to ask if we could wait at the hotel until our flight. She let us store our luggage in the business center room, then told us about the free airport shuttle, which saved us a lot of money. We’re so grateful to Julie and Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville! My TV didn't work, and I found out several rooms had no television service. The TVs rely entirely on internet service provided to hotels by GatewayWorld Wide. Wi-Fi for phones and tablets was working, though.
