The rooster noise starts around 3:45 in the morning, and there are chickens and lots of roosters on the property. I also saw the third picture, and I have a video of police dragging someone through the parking lot. For what I paid, that wasn’t okay. I stayed for a week and the room itself was decent. But when I tried to extend another week, I was told to get rid of my dog or leave, even though the front desk guy knew about him when I arrived. He’s about four pounds and is a service dog, not an emotional support animal. I showed proof and asked what policy required more paperwork. The guy said my doctor had to send something, even though I already had the proof. I explained that I didn’t need to say what service she provides. I had proof of the policy, her size, and her registration.

I felt comfortable sleeping here, even under the covers, which I don’t do at most motels. The room looked like the photo and was really clean when I arrived. If you want a comfortable place at a decent weekly rate, this is a good choice.
The Beach Blvd location has been a relief. Rockstar Dana is the manager there, and she was respectful and straightforward when she got us a room. No chickens, thank goodness. Carlos at the St John Bluff location was also very professional when I explained I just wanted to collect my things. At St John Bluff, I moved in on 4/6 and paid $796.84 cash. The room was basic, as expected, but the bathroom door was damaged. The manager handed me a screwdriver and said I could fix it myself for $40 off. The screws wouldn’t hold because the wood was stripped, and the swollen floor made the door stick. I paid $746.84 the next week with no discount. In week three, I was at work when I got calls from an unknown number. I called back at 12:30 and was asked if I was paying. I said yes and that I’d be there after work at 3:30. Saman said I owed a $40 late fee because it was after noon. I told him I hadn’t been told about a fee or our conversation, but he kept denying he was wrong. There are groups of feral chickens around the property. They poop on cars, get into them to reach the trees, and crow at 2:30, 4:30, and 5:30 in the morning, waking me and, I’m sure, others. One morning the housekeeper banged on my door at 8:45 asking about payment before they were open. I said we were good. The door sticks and has a latch, so I had to slam it. I didn’t yell or swear, but she told Saman I’d been disrespectful. They threatened to make me leave. I explained what happened and said I was sorry if they felt that way, since I hadn’t meant it that way. This past week I paid $540 daily for six days. I paid Saturday and said I’d try to come back for Sunday. I was told Saturday was covered, so I went to Statesboro with my wife after work. When we returned Sunday, I couldn’t get in because I hadn’t paid for that day. On Monday I spoke with Carlos and explained I wanted to get my things. I said I’d be done by 3. After moving, I returned the key and asked about my deposit. Saman had marked it as a late checkout. How can I be charged for late checkout when Saturday was paid and you’re closed Sundays? After I posted, I got a response saying I’d signed the agreement. They ask you to sign the card payment, but don’t tell you it’s an agreement or explain it at that location. They give you two receipts with the stay length and amount, with no transparency. If you’re going to do this, tell customers what they’re signing and let them read it. Don’t bring it up only when staff have done something wrong. My experience wasn’t all bad, but the last three weeks were horrible. You have to do better. I’m fed up. Saman called last night and said the boss was on the phone, and that I should bring the receipts to get my money back. He lied, recorded me without consent, and said I couldn’t get a refund because my stuff was still in the room and it couldn’t be checked out. But you’re closed Sunday. Don’t go to St John Bluff. The service was horrible and they wouldn’t work with me. I hope they investigate what’s going on there and fix it. They’re losing people fast.
Since June 2025, I’ve had great customer service and no problems. The place stays clean and organized, inside and out. I especially like how convenient the shops are from this location. Wonderful service, no complaints!
The photos don’t match what’s actually here, and the price is way above the quality. I paid 390 at the desk after booking for 330. It feels like this should cost cheap motel rates, and I’ve seen motels in better shape. The elevator and laundry room are both out of service, so the facilities that might have been highlights aren’t available. It’s dirty throughout and smells like an ashtray wherever you walk. People smoking cigarettes and other drugs made my throat hurt. An attendant accidentally opened my door in the middle of the night. If they have policies, they need to follow through. They really need to do better.
