SpringHill Suites Jacksonville Baymeadows

We couldn't sleep well because the walls were thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking. It was very late when we called the front desk to complain, and we still didn't get good sleep. We also had to switch rooms when we arrived because someone was working in the one we were first assigned. The bathroom water pressure was weak, barely more than a trickle. I thought my first booking was for two people and had requested extra towels, but I had to call the hotel to change the reservation instead of using the Bonvoy app. Even after that, we didn't get extra towels. No one changed the bedding, made the bed, or took out the trash while we were away for the day, so we returned to the room as we'd left it, messy.

Brent at the front desk made our last-minute stay at the SpringHill Suites in Jacksonville feel easy from the start. He was welcoming and accommodating, and handled check-in smoothly so we felt well looked after. His professionalism and warm personality stood out. You could tell he takes pride in making guests feel comfortable and valued. Thank you, Brent, for going above and beyond. SpringHill Suites is lucky to have you!

Tamara at the front desk was welcoming, attentive, and helpful, and made a great impression. Faatimah Darby, the Sales Manager at SpringHill Suites Baymeadows, was just as wonderful. She communicated clearly and promptly, handled everything smoothly, and treated me like family. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and clearly cares about her work and guests. The hotel is lucky to have both of them. Faatimah Darby is a real asset, and their service showed how much the team values hospitality. I’d gladly recommend staying here when you’re in the Jacksonville area.

The oatmeal was the one letdown. Breakfast was complimentary, but it wasn’t replenished like the eggs, and the pot had been pushed to the back. If you’re an oatmeal fan, I’d get there before 8/9am. Shauntae at the front desk was kind, professional, and reassuring while we were on a tight schedule getting a Christmas surprise ready for our son, who’d just turned one. The decorations in our room were ones I’d brought and set up myself; staff were supportive and respectful, which meant a lot to us. Her calm help made a stressful bit of planning easier. Our little guy was bouncing, clapping, squealing, and giggling, then had a beautiful nap. Our stay was very nice, and his first Christmas is one we’ll remember. Worth it!
