Roaches everywhere, and they seem to set the deposit amount differently depending on the guest, based on another review. I paid a higher deposit and never got it back.

There were roaches in the room, holes in the bathroom door, and a smell from the next room coming through the bathroom vent. Shady people were hanging around too. Deposits don’t get returned.

The people running the place were rude and unhelpful, and acted as if they didn’t care that a paying guest was unhappy. The room was awful too: the bed was basically a box spring with a pad on top, about as good as sleeping on the ground. There were holes in the walls, stained sheets, and a dirty bathtub. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I’m a single mom, and I booked two nights online for $115 because my home AC had gone out and I had two small kids with me. At check-in, the woman asked for another $20 as a deposit. I gave her my card, but she said it had to be cash, so I left. I found a better hotel and called to cancel. When I tried, she said I could just come back and there’d be no deposit. That felt shady. I’ve emailed and called to report it and get a refund, but they keep saying they don’t refund, even though the website says cancellations are free. I’d never give them my business again. They give OYO a bad name. The REAL OYO Jacksonville is amazing, these Jacksonville Inn people are awful!
