Tina, Gina, Sandy, and Liz were especially friendly and professional, and security guard Joseph was so nice. He helped me to my car each time, which put my mind at ease. The staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, and my room was cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable, with blackout curtains and a spotless bathroom. The free Wi-Fi was great and I liked the TV selection. The location is convenient for UNF, St. John’s Town Center, and lots of restaurants. I’ll definitely be back.

The room was quiet and nice, and the area was clean. There’s a pool I can’t wait to use on my next visit, plus free morning coffee, laundry machines and a dryer, and a refrigerator and microwave in every room. Free Wi-Fi and a good TV selection were nice, too. The one drawback is that there aren’t any USB outlets, which feels outdated and should change. It’s a wonderful place in a great location, not far from restaurants or any side of town. The staff were super friendly and professional. Mrs. Millet, Gina, Sandy, Tracy, and Tiffany were all so kind. Red Roof is lucky to have them.

For a two-star hotel, the room showed its age but was still comfortable. If you’re traveling with a dog on a budget, this is a good option since one dog can stay free overnight. The location is good for the price, surrounded by food joints and not far from downtown. A lot of places charge for parking and $75-100 a night for a dog, so the pet policy and price are what brought my rating to four stars. There were some downsides. My boyfriend found a dead bug, and I saw a roach in the hallway. The room smelled odd at first, though the odor went away after we turned on the AC. He didn’t find the bed comfortable enough, but I didn’t really mind it. The TV was quite small, and I’m not sure about the Wi-Fi. Bring your own shampoo if you don’t like shampoo bars.

We booked a night with my daughter and found roaches in the room. I told the front desk and they moved us to another floor, which was great. The new room was decent and clean, but smelled strange, and small black ants showed up after we ate dinner. The TV didn’t work. It was okay apart from the bugs, but they definitely need pest control.
