WoodSpring Suites Jacksonville East 295 Cruise Port

This was a really bad choice. I booked eight nights and asked for two beds, but got one. The room was so awful I left after just one night, and I want my money back. It was completely unclean, smelled strongly of pee, and whatever was supposed to be the mattress didn’t seem like one. I wasn’t expecting this.

Bring Lysol. The room was filthy, with floors that looked like a whole football team had walked through and walls covered in dirt, dead bugs, and boogers. There was an obvious pest problem as soon as we entered. The bathroom had black mold and smelled musty, with an odor of bodily fluids. The beds were made to a presentable standard, and we didn’t find bedbugs, but this was still one of my worst experiences at woodsprings suites. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

Our room was really disappointing and disgusting for what was meant to be our last vacation for a while before my husband went back to duty. It felt outdated, more like a motel, and housekeeping had done a poor job. Dead roaches were on the floors and appliances, and the musty smell was strong. After a 12-hour drive, I ended up cleaning the whole room myself. Very disapproving 👎!

We picked this for one night before a cruise, with my mom, dad, and two siblings. The price was low, pets were allowed, and the room had a stove and microwave. It was close to the cruise terminal port, and the listing clearly said there was no breakfast. Those were the good parts. The elevators didn’t work, and we were on the third floor. Thank goodness we didn’t have to bring our suitcases inside. The room and stairwell were dirty, and the stairwell smelled like dog. There were stains on the covers, hair in the towels, barely enough towels, and one bed had only sheets without a comforter. The ceiling had a shoe print, the toilet tank was cracked, and the walls were dirty. I don’t plan to return unless it’s renovated.
