My wife was coming down with the flu while we traveled, so she couldn’t continue the trip. We stayed four nights, and everyone went above and beyond to help. Jordan at the front desk was fantastic, even helping us get DoorDash food, which we weren’t familiar with. The cleaning staff made sure we had what we needed as well. They turned a terrible situation into a really great stay.

The breakfast alone would bring me back. It was so good, and they change the waffle flavors with the season. I had a churro waffle with cinnamon sugar. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and when I had several questions, they answered them all without making me feel silly, lol. My room was really nice and clean. I didn’t use the pool because it was chilly when I visited, but it looked very clean.

I’ve been here several times and have always had a good stay. The location is hard to beat, the rooms are clean, and the staff and breakfast are great. My only complaint is that the pillows could be better.

The rooms have been newly remodeled, and the facility is excellent. It was quiet at night, and there’s a good breakfast selection. Cracker Barrel is next door for dinner.

Headed south? Go to Beloit Hampton Inn. This morning two staff members publicly humiliated and scrutinized me when I tried to get breakfast at 11. The second one came running in and yelled, “Sir, breakfast is closed.” For anyone trying to avoid being bullied by staff, breakfast closes at 10 on weekends. Insane. I’ve never been bullied by two staff members before, but there’s a first time for everything. The rooms were clean, and the night service was nice.
