Super 8 Janesville

The heat and cool unit wouldn’t turn on the heat or even the fan when I pressed the buttons. I’d set it to 78, and it kicked on at 4 a.m. and woke me up.

This was exactly what we needed for our concert weekend in WI. The hotel was safe and clean, breakfast was just enough to keep us going, and the staff were friendly. Thanks for accommodating us when we needed to stay an extra day. It certainly doesn’t claim to be five-star, but we had a great stay.

Dwayne was working at the Super 8 that night, and he made all the difference. Everything in Janesville was booked, and we’d just had a terrible Airbnb experience with a basement room for 1555. I desperately needed a hotel for my 87-year-old disabled mom and our two dogs. Dwayne took his time checking the rooms because he genuinely wanted to help. He found us a downstairs accessible room, let us use the disabled parking spot even though I didn’t have my placard, accommodated the dogs, and helped open the door. That guy deserves a raise. The next morning I was surprised by how well I’d slept. The hotel was packed but quiet, and it was probably the cleanest highway hotel I’ve seen in a long time. The breakfast was very nice, and the attendant was kind too. I highly recommend this Super 8.

It was easy to get to, and the room looked clean, but there was an overwhelming smell as soon as I walked in. It was supposed to be non-smoking, yet smelled like a smoking lounge. I woke up with a stuffy nose.
