Comfort Inn and Suites

We didn’t feel safe, so we left. People in the room next to ours were drunk and trying to get through the adjoining door, yelling after we’d told them we were in there. I called to complain, but the front desk woman told those people, who were downstairs, that we’d complained about them. She said she couldn’t check us out until the next day and couldn’t refund my money.

A sudden work trip change meant I had to find a hotel late and with almost no notice. I called this location just after midnight Saturday, going into Sunday, and the front desk woman found a room for me within minutes. She was so kind when I arrived close to one in the morning. I wish I’d gotten her name so I could give her the credit she deserves. It was a great experience, especially given how last-minute it was. I’d stay here again if work brings me through, and recommend it to others.

I checked in late this evening without a reservation, after a long day. Melissa at the front desk greeted me with real kindness and compassion. She even suggested places where I could get dinner so late. That was refreshing. I’ll gladly stay here again when I’m in Jasper.

The staff were all so pleasant, happy, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is very dated, but very clean. For Jasper, Alabama, it’s probably the nicest one in town, no offense to anyone. As for basics, it was a bed to sleep in and a shower to use. The only vending machine was on the first floor, and the one working ice machine broke the day after I got here.
