It's in a handy spot for restaurants and groceries, while far enough away that traffic isn't a hassle. The room was clean and the staff super friendly. My two complaints: the walls are paper thin, so you hear everything from the next room, even a sneeze, and there's no fridge for drinks.

The breakfast sausage was spoiled, and the cigarette smoke smell after getting off the elevator was so strong it gave me a headache. My room was nasty and smelly, and the toilet wouldn't flush. Updating the interior would help, but this place needs a complete overhaul. This was the most pitiful hotel experience I've EVER had. I'll NEVER stay here again!

For $120 a night, this was a clean, small room with a very hot shower and no bugs. The TV was small and the walls were thin. I travel for work and spend 40-50 nights a year in hotels, usually around $300 a night, so I think some reviewers may not have much hotel experience. Breakfast wasn't a huge spread, but it was enough: waffles you make yourself, muffins, grits, cereal, bagels, fruit, juice, and coffee. No eggs or bacon, but it's $120 a night, and Waffle House is $15 per person, so what do you expect? It's not the Ritz, but it's priced accordingly and good for what I paid.

The staff were great, though they clearly know about ongoing problems and aren't allowed to comment. To me, that's a management issue. I paid $335 for two nights, but this feels like a place under $100 a night. The room was okay, clean but outdated, with a crack in the window and paint that needs refreshing. The hallways smelled like an old Vegas casino. Bookings.com giving it 8.5/10 is a joke. I'd spend extra on a beautiful cabin instead. Live and learn.

The beds were comfortable, which mattered because we were in a pinch. If you need somewhere to sleep, this is an OK hotel, but anyone looking for a nice, updated place should go elsewhere. The rooms, halls, and elevator all need some love. There were cracks in the walls and the floors were installed very poorly. Our toilet was clogged when we arrived and kept failing to flush, even when there was nothing in it. The hallway smelled strongly of marijuana, and the lobby vending machine didn't even have water.
