Days Inn by Wyndham Jefferson City

I booked a stay so a kid could get to training for his new job and his dad could take him there and back as cheaply as possible. The staff were kind and considerate throughout. Because I booked it, the card was in my name, while the room was under the father's name. That caused a check-in problem when the third-party discount site didn't share my card details with the hotel, so I had to bring my information in to cover any room damage. The staff explained the issue to the father, and when I arrived they were friendly and explained it to me as well. They still let father and son check in and gave them a room key without the card information they usually require. That's above and beyond service. There was also a problem because the third-party site had split the booking into two stays. The staff told the father about it, and he let me know. I called and was politely told I had until checkout to sort it out. I called back to confirm it was resolved, and there were no further issues. They also let the two of them stay in the same room despite the two separate stays. Breakfast was hot and fresh each morning, with eggs and sausage, which you don't see much with free breakfast these days. The milk was always fresh too. Staff respected the do not disturb hanger and never made them uncomfortable. When they saw either of them in the hallway, they offered to tidy up, bring fresh towels, or change the sheets, and accepted whatever they said was okay. Every room they entered smelled fresh and clean. The mattresses were soft without sinking or cratering, and there were plenty of soft, pliant pillows. Overall, a wonderful experience. 100% recommend.
