Historic Kahn Hotel

My friends enjoyed their coffee, but my smoothie order turned into a pretty wild experience. I ordered strawberry banana, paid, and two minutes later was told they were out. I was fine with choosing another flavor, but none of the available choices appealed to me: mango, Pina colada or peach. So I asked for my money back. She argued for two minutes that she couldn't open the drawer and wouldn't refund me. I asked her to call someone who could, and she did. I got my money back. Maybe the staff just need more training.

I've been staying here ever since they built rooms on the bottom floor. The upstairs rooms are stairs only. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have coffee, lattes, and hot teas. The ginger lemon honey pepper tea is really good, with a refreshing taste.

The location is perfect, and the hotel is good value for the price. It feels modernized while still keeping its historic charm. I called to reserve and got a warm welcome, along with simple electronic check-in instructions. What a great hotel. Highly recommend!

Kim is so welcoming and friendly, and the toiletries were really nice quality. The hotel itself was quiet, clean and very nice, with a room that was just right for two people. There was some paranormal activity, but only at a low level. We enjoyed it and hope to come back soon.
